Qi Rhythm

Qi Rhythm Balance E/M 8

Qi flows through the channels in a daily cycle. The cycle is made up of three circuits that take 8 hours each. Each circuit involves four channels, each channel being most active for 2 hours of each day.

Each circuit starts with one of the channels that originate on the chest. From the chest energy flows down the inside of the arm to the tips of the fingers, then crosses to the back of the arm to head and then from the head to the foot and the foot back to the chest. The first circuit starts with the Lu, the second the Ht and the third with the Pc.

This procedure aims to balance the upstream and downstream connections of a channel in terms of the daily cycle of qi.
