Location: midline, level with 2nd intercostal.
Gong is a temple or palace of the ancestors or emperor. Zi is symbolic of the purple silk worn by the royal family. This point is symbolic of a temple of all the ancestors of all the emperors that ever lived. In Shamanic traditions and in China, ancestors are thought to offer wisdom. When we respect ourselves and our ancestors this point enables us to tap into the wisdom of spirit and all those who have come before.
Exercise: Think of an ancestor who has passed away that you would like some guidance from for your life now. Maybe you want merely to be comforted. Maybe you want an answer to a problem you currently face. Allow yourself to enter into the temple of the ancestors where you may ask to connect with any of your ancestors, to spend some time with them and bring back a gift from them that will help you in your life now.
